SPACE INVADERS

This piece was created for the collaborative zine organized by Evangeline Gallagher ‘Tape Guts: An 80s B-Movie Zine’. I had an absolute blast working on this illustration!

The idea was to find a truly terrible (yet amazing) example of b-grade horror cinema from the 1980s. I went on an internet hunt for something that spoke to me, and landed on this masterpiece. Aliens, kids as the main characters, terrible puppet effects, you name it, Invaders from Mars (1986) has it.

The illustration was created in Adobe Photoshop and printed in a full page 8.5x11 format.
